Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right — with a great variety to choose from. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Love the laid-back, beachy vibe. This place is the real deal!
A great place to eat! The raspberry walnut chicken salad and bacon mac n' cheese bites are so, so good. Will absolutely be back — and I'm bringing everyone I know.
Great burgers and fries! Nice little gem right off the highway. We stopped in on a road trip and it turned into our favorite part of the whole trip. Definitely a must-stop!
You absolutely have to try the Kahuna sauce — it's amazing. The burgers are nothing short of perfection. Not greasy, always fresh, and the flavor is unbelievable. Best burger joint in the area!
The Wipeout Burger with Sweet Chili Cream Cheese was AWESOME!! Everything here is made fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. This is what a real burger is supposed to taste like.
Beautiful place, super clean, and the friendliest staff. The horseshoe and custom burgers are absolutely delicious. Great food and prices comparable to any chain — but SO much better. Highly recommend to everyone!

From one couple's dream to a full-circle community story
In 2010, Larry and Darla Deiters opened Kahuna's Burgers with a bold vision: a unique dining and entertainment experience unlike anything Greenville, Illinois had ever seen. They built it from the ground up — every table, every recipe, every smile earned one guest at a time.
The very first employee Larry and Darla ever hired was a 16-year-old named Kate. She worked and grew alongside the restaurant before leaving to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. Little did anyone know what was coming next.
In October 2024, Kate — the original employee — became the new owner alongside her husband Derek Hoerchler. They took the helm with one intention: to honor everything Larry and Darla built while bringing fresh love to the place that started it all.
